The ‘American Horror Story’ actress has joined the cast of Spencer Squire’s feature debut, which will also star John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Shannon.

Squire, Jessica Scott and Erik Patterson wrote the screenplay for the film, which recently wrapped filming.

It tells the story of a father, mother and their young son, who move into an isolated farmhouse that has a tragic history.

Zachary Quinto is among the film’s executive producers, alongside Robert Ogden Barnum, Eric Binns and Byron Wetzel, along with Neal Dodson, Andrew Gans, David Gendron, Neil Gobioff, Rich Goldberg, Peter Jarowey, Ali Jazayeri, Shawn Paonessa, Oliver Ridge , Viviana Zarragoitia, Michael Reiser, Delos Chang and Deepen Shah.

The film will be fully financed through an agreement between Vertical Entertainment and Three Point Capital.

Vertical’s Peter Jarowey and Three Point Capital’s David Gendron and Ali Jazayeri said in a joint statement to Deadline, “‘Abandoned’ opens a new chapter for Vertical Entertainment and Three Point Capital and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be partnering together. in this trip.

“As we did successfully with ‘Abandoned’, our funding strategy going forward will be hyper-focused on the symmetry of art and commerce by ensuring that the relationship between history, talent (in front and behind the camera) and spend equals a fantastic customer experience that benefits both Vertical and Three Point bottom lines.

“Our initial strategy is to activate this model for two to three projects per year starting in 2022. From there, we will see where it takes us.”
