Justified’s Timothy Olyphant Joins HBO Max Series Full Circle | Chicago Reel
Timothy Olyphant, who recently wrapped filming the limited series Justified: City Primeval in Chicago, traveled to New York to begin filming the HBO Max limited series full circle, from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon for HBO Max. Filming has started
Soderbergh will direct all six episodes of the mystery crime drama series and serve as executive producer, with Solomon serving as writer and executive producer. Casey Silver is also an executive producer.
Olyphant is the newest addition to the cast of the six-episode series with previously announced cast members Dennis Quaid, Zazie Beetz and Claire Danes.
You can expect to see plenty of Olyphant on the small screen in the coming months. The FX limited series Justified: City Primeval set to air in late fall 2022 or early 2023. You’ll also find Olyphant in the Amazon Studios miniseries Daisey Jones and the Sixand in the Netflix action thriller, Ravaged where the streets of Cardiff Bay in Wales were transformed into snowy American streets for the production.
Justified: City Primeval is a sequel to FX’s long-running hit Justified, and earned two of the eight Emmy Award nominations the show received, as well as a Peabody Award, and Olyphant won the Satellite Best Actor Award for the series in 2011. The series was based on the short story by Elmore Leonard Fire in the Hole, with Leonard consulting with producers until his death in 2013. Olyphant plays U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.
