On Friday, July 8, LMN aired the first episode of Season 2 of “Keeping Up With the Joneses.” Vivica A Fox plays the matriarch of a wealthy family who, along with her four stepdaughters, do whatever she can to keep the family business going. In the second episode of the series, she is faced with difficulties that she can only understand. As she attempts to make their new water project work and secure the fortune she is to receive from her “dead” husband, she encounters a threat in the person of Cam Forest (Clark Moore). As we watch Webb make a comeback near the end of “The Wrong Nemesis,” he makes sure to get back everything he believes is rightfully his. Pam is at a loss for words as she deals with the unexpected presence of her long-lost daughter Eve. Eve’s arrival also causes a stir in the Jones household. The other family members think Eve’s appearance is a ruse. They warn Pam to check that she is not an impostor. As a result, they seek advice from the family’s attorney, Sheldon (Michael Paré). To make sure they are not fooled, they decide to have a DNA procedure done. After a little disappointment, they discover that Eve is indeed Pam’s daughter. Pam decides to introduce Eve to the rest of the family to make up for the years of separation. Eve, who was smart and shrewd, was eager to identify herself as “Eve Jones” as soon as she entered the house. Despite Pam’s enthusiasm for the mini family reunion, Eve is inundated with questions about her plans with the family. They all doubt his intention to come back and see Pam because they all believe there is a bigger picture that Pam is overlooking. Tara (Jasmine Aivaliotis) takes matters into her own hands following Eve’s continual refusal to have an ulterior motive.

Finally, the elephant in the room is the reappearance of Webb. When he saw that his plan to blackmail Robin via Cam was failing, he pulled Cam out of the picture. He decides to come out of hiding in order to put Robin out of his game. Robin, who hid the truth about what happened on the boat from everyone around her, faints when she sees him at the television announce his own resurrection. In the midst of their comeback, the family is hounded by the press and loses big investors. On the other hand, Webb, being Webb, does not file a legal complaint against Robin or seek help from a higher authority. Webb visits Robin near the end of the film to confront what she has done.

The Joneses are fashion royalty! Mrs. Vivica A Fox was and continues to be fantastic as Robin. She is still a gorgeous and fashionable DIVA! Webb sure understands not messing with Robin!! Eve’s past is fascinating, but we’re still puzzled as to her real motives! With so many bodies dropping in a chapter, the Joneses keep you guessing what happens next. This film is really well put together and avant-garde. The dialogue is sarcastic and pointed, and the drama just keeps coming. The following episode will be considerably more intense as “The Wrong Murder” ends with a fiery cliffhanger.
