Netflix’s All-Star Heist Thriller Movie Red Notice Sets Release Date
Netflix has finally set a release date for its long-awaited heist thriller photo Red Notice, featuring Black adamis Dwayne Johnson, dead Poolis Ryan Reynolds, and Wonder womanis Gal Gadot. The film is set to debut on Friday, November 12, which is more than a year since the project ended production in 2020. Johnson also took to Twitter to enhance its premiere by describing it as the streamer’s greatest movie of all time.

Red Notice is an action-comedy and action thriller conceived as a three-way game between Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. In the film, Johnson plays an Interpol agent tasked with capturing the world’s most wanted art thief. The “red notice” refers to the highest and most serious Interpol notice (there are eight) and concerns the arrest of wanted criminals. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot will take on the role of the world’s greatest art thief with Ryan Reynolds playing the world’s biggest con artist.
The film is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who worked with Johnson in Central intelligence and Skyscraper. Netflix won the distribution rights to the film in a bidding war after Universal Pictures reportedly failed to engage with all of the filmmakers.
