Track 34 trailer: Ajay Devgn-Amitabh Bachchan plays mind games in this thriller set 35,000 feet above the ground

Did Ajay Devgn prevent a plane crash from happening or cause a serious incident? The intriguing trailer of its next director Runway 34 came out and shows him paying off a pilot who has secrets up his sleeve. The movie also stars Rakul Preet as a co-pilot who seems to have an equal part in the accident, and we can only guess that she’s been hiding a lot too.

Track 34 follows the investigation of an incident caused by a driver (played by Ajay Devgn) who isn’t exactly a follower of the rules. While the trailer doesn’t specify what the incident was, it appears the pilot landed his plane in bad weather despite clear instructions not to.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the investigator trying to find the real truth behind the tragedy. We also see actors Boman Irani, Adhira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh. What exactly happened 35,000 feet above the ground makes the film something to watch. The film is said to be based on true events.

According to the synopsis, “Inspired by true incidents, track 34 revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna played by Ajay Devgn, a flying prodigy, whose flight takes a mysterious course after taking off from an international destination.”

Runway 34 marks the return of Ajay Devgn to leadership after Shivaay in 2016. In a statement, he said: “Close your eyes and think – each of us must have been in a situation in life where we felt all-powerful during one moment and completely helpless the next. We’ve all had that moment when we felt we could take on the world and yet the very next situation kicked us out of whack. This “storm” that is brewing within you plays with your emotions; tear you apart; that turbulent ride that makes you wonder – is it a nightmare? Or is it real? These are the feelings associated with track 34. There are terrific highs, alarming lows, a sense of jubilation and despondency, all in the script. Honestly, letting this script pass me by wasn’t even a consideration. I knew I had to get there.
